My Little Life

Danny. Savion. Donald. Leon. What do we all have in common, well our last name for starters. Here you have it folks, a Glover like no other.

I was born and bred in the melting pot that is sunny Miami, Florida where if I wasn’t busy with school, I was definitely with my friends at the beach soaking in all beauty. I attended undergrad at New World School of the Arts before taking off to pursue a career in the performing arts.

Since moving here I have had a stockpile of different jobs but the one that I hold near and dear to my heart is performing both on and off the stage. A proud AEA member, I have had the opportunity to perform, direct and choreograph for theaters throughout NY and other places. I got started teaching and getting behind the table when I worked as a chipper young counselor at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts and Long Lake Camp for the Arts, which ultimately lead to teaching at Applause right here in the heart of Manhattan.

Art should be something that liberates your soul, provokes the imagination and encourages people to go further.

- Keith Haring

When I’m not in or around the theater, I can be found sweating it out to some fun tunes teaching dance cardio and fitness classes. Currently I teach regularly at Broadway Bodies, AfterWork Theater and Dance From Home, each a different adventure but fun and rewarding all the same.

Welcome friends! Sit back, relax and enjoy.

Yours,

L
